Life is hard. While there are many joys and celebrations and good times, there is also much sadness: disease, war, terrorism, death . . . and we haven’t even gotten to our personal lives yet. On some days it’s all you can do to get out of bed.
But . . . what if it didn’t have to be like this? What if there were a group of people who cared about you and did everything they could to support you in your day to day life? What if there was a place where you’d feel accepted and welcome, regardless of who you are or what you have done. What if there was a church that didn’t claim to have all the answers to the world’s problems, and whose members were open-minded and nonjudgmental?
If you’re trying to make sense out of the world and how God might fit into your life? If you’re tired of churches and people who claim to “know it all,” and will give you their wisdom in a three-point sermon or six week Bible Study, and if you’re interested in exploring faith and what a life centered on Jesus might look like, then The Welcome Table might just be the place for you.
The Welcome Table is an inclusive gathering of people seeking to love God, love people, and follow Jesus. Our goal is to provide a safe environment for people to bring their questions and to share their difficulties, while also strengthening them for living their lives every day. There is a place for you at The Welcome Table, and we hope you will join us (We’ll even provide free coffee, tea or hot chocolate).
